See below information from the Kildare County board on an information session which will be held for Leaving Certificate students and is taking place on Thursday 7th March at 7.30pm in Naas GAA Club. (See poster below for event details)

This information night is a chance for 5th/6th year students to hear about the opportunities available for GAA players in Maynooth University through the GAA scholarship programme. The scholarship programme is a pathway to elite performance for up and coming GAA, Ladies Football and Camogie players.

Speakers on the night include:

Jenny Duffy, GAA Development Officer Maynooth University

Johnny Doyle, MU GAA Sigerson Manager

Marie Clancy, Psychotherapist

Dealing with the transition from second level to third level

Dr. John McGinnity, Assistant Registrar and Admissions Officer Maynooth University

John will be in attendance to discuss all academic course options available to study in Maynooth University.

The night will finish with a Q&A discussion with:

All of the above speakers and some of the current Maynooth University GAA Coaching team along with MU GAA Club Sports Psychologist Ann Marie Kennedy.

Please feel free to pass this information along to any interested players/students who may wish to attend on the night.

There are many opportunities and supports for students of all ability within Maynooth University and MU GAA Club.
