Football Notes

Congratulations to Adam Fanning, Harry O' Neill, Oisín O' Sullivan, Hugh Prendergast and Oisín Tighe who have been selected for the 2020 Kildare Minor Football Panel. It's a tremendous achievement to have five players representing our club at this level. We wish them all the best of luck in their 2020 Minor Football campaign.

Fixtures:

Best of luck to our U17 Footballers who face a tough away trip to Naas this Saturday - throw-in is at 3pm in Naas. Both teams are 2 from 2 in their group so it should be a great game. Please get along and support the team.

Hurling Notes

Our U21 Hurlers were due to play the county final last weekend against Leixlip but the game was called off early Sunday morning when Leixlip were unable to field a team. We are awaiting confirmation from the CCC on whether or not the fixture will be replayed at a later date or if the match will be awarded to Clane.

The Hurling end of year review will take place on Friday evening, November 22nd at 8pm in the upstairs bar with special guest speaker former Kilkenny Hurler and 5 time All-Ireland winner Aidan 'Taggy' Fogarty. All members are welcome! Check out the events page on our web site for further details.

Congrats to Sam Hillyer, Eamonn Little, Cormac Vizzard, Charlie Connolly & Ger D’Arcy who were all part of the Kildare Celtic Challenge Hurling panel for 2019. The Bank of Ireland Celtic Challenge is a hurling competition for 16/17 year olds. 1,300 players on 44 teams from 32 counties played 138 games!

The lads were presented with their jerseys recently after a very successful year.
