After their breath taking victory in a memorable Senior B Championship final just over 2 weeks ago, this weekend sees most of the lads returning to action in the U23 Hurling Championship.

After winning the U23 B Championship in 2024 the lads will compete in the A Championship this year and kick off their campaign with a home fixture against Coill Dubh this Saturday afternoon in Conneff Park with a 2.30pm throw in. The team will be managed by our Senior Manager Willie Banks who will be hoping to build on the momentum from the Senior Championship ahead of the upcoming Leinster Junior Hurling Championship Quarter-Final. There are 3 matches in the group phase played over the next 3 weekends; the other 2 fixtures are away to Naas and Éire Óg Corra Choill.

These fixtures will be a real test for the lads and provide a flavour of what's to come next year when they return to the A Championship ranks.

Best of luck to the team and management and we encourage our members to come out and support the lads.
