As our club continues to grow (we now have over 70 teams across 4 codes in the club), managing communications gets more challenging. Earlier this year the club invested in ClubZap which gives us mobile app, web site, messaging and fixtures/results integration all in one platform. As we have on boarded more and more of our teams to ClubZap so too have the notifications increased out to your phone.

How to reduce the number of notifications to your phone

By default notifications from all teams is turned on in the app BUT you can choose to restrict notifications to only those teams you want to receive notifications on, particularly for fixtures and results.

Please note - this has nothing to do with the Club Announcements service. A number of people have left the club announcements service in the past few days. We only use the club announcements messaging group to send out important club announcements that are relevant to all members. On another note. We are aware that the performance of the messaging part of the app (which has some great features and more importantly meets GAA and GDPR guidelines) is still too slow for most users and we continue to work with the app developers to try to improve this. They have implemented some improvements in recent weeks and a new version of the app is due very soon. Thanks for your understanding.
