What's New

After all the excitement of the Mini All-Ireland last weekend it will be somewhat quieter but no less busy at Clane GAA this weekend. Last weekend we had over 300 children from the community of Clane participate in the inaugural Clane GAA Mini All-Ireland as players, coaches and referees. The highlight of the weekend was seeing all the kids marching behind the band on the main pitch before proudly singing our National Anthem. You will find lots of photos and videos from the weekend on our many social media channels, search #ClaneGaaMAI. There are also some short videos which capture the atmosphere and spirit of the occasion on our new Official Clane GAA YouTube channel. Please subscribe if you haven't already done so.

Best wishes also to Cian Burke who plays in goals for Kildare Minor Footballers in this evenings Leinster Minor Football Championship Semi-Final Vs Laois in O'Moore Park, Portlaoise - Throw in at 8pm. #CillDaraAbú

Congratulations to Mark Doyle who has been named captain of the Kildare Under 20 Hurling team for 2019. Best of luck to Mark and his team mates in their upcoming All-Ireland campaign!

Great progress has been made on The Playing Fields music festival and we are at advanced stages in our organisation and planning. A huge amount of work has been put into this event and all of this work is to ensure we have the required funding in place to support the development of our club for you our members and your familes. On the back of significant marketing and PR in recent weeks it has been very pleasing to see steady and consistent growth in our ticket sales including our corporate packages. As a result the early bird discounted ticket rate will close on June 30th. Book now to take advantage of the best prices - Buy Here. If your require further information on a corporate or VIP package please contact Fintan Doran or eMail info@theplayingfields.ie.
