Clane GAA are proud to announce that we will be hosting our first Mini All Ireland on the weekend of June 14-16 for boys & girls, age groups U7 to U12 inclusive.
The Clane GAA Annual Mini All Ireland will be a highpoint of the Clane underage annual calendar and an event that pulls together children, their parents, guardians and the wider club and community in a weekend long celebration of Hurling and Football. The Mini All-Ireland is a community event and is open to all boys and girls from the community of Clane, both members and non-members.
Each year/gender will divide into teams and then play games against each other. The teams will be balanced to allow for maximum enjoyment and participation. Each team will be named after a county and each player will get a team t-shirt to wear for the matches. It will be a non-competitive and fun event with each team managed by 13,14 and15 year olds from the club and our U16 & Minor players have the task of refereeing the games.
Ancillary activities such as face painting, food stalls and entertainment will also be provided. On each night there is a BBQ and on the Sunday there will be a Grand Parade in front of the main stand.
