Clane GAA hosted an U11 Hurling Blitz on Sunday last May 5th, 2019 with teams from Kilkenny, Tipperary, Offaly, Dublin, Laois, Westmeath and Kildare taking part.
On a bright sunny Sunday we were treated to some fantastic hurling from the youngsters. Clane entered 2 teams and they performed brilliantly – both teams reached the Cup semi-finals losing only narrowly to Killkormac- Killoughy and Ballyhale Shamrocks (containing famous surnames like Shefflin and Fennelly).
Killkormac- Killoughy went on to beat Ballyhale in the Cup final.
